Sedgefield are hoping to return to winning ways after the cruel loss to Ponteland 2 weeks ago having lost out so late in the game to the league leaders, it doesnt get any easier with Hartlepool sitting in 3rd in the league with ambitions to break into the promotion picture.

Sedgie are much changed with unavailability and injury providing opportunity for players to stake a claim for 1st XV spots more regularly. With over 40 players not available its a credit to see that we can still name 2 strong sides for the trip in the penultimate game of the decade!
Kev Vaughan comes into start in the front row with Dan Lawson completing a new look prop pairing. Anth Smyth and Paul Wilkinson are the 2nd row pair while the back row is well shuffled with skipper James Watson moving from hooker and Paul McCormack and Ben Norris completing the pack.
The back line sees only one change with Andy Fife unavailable, Andy Shepherd comes in to start. Nathan Waterhouse, Chris Dawson, Danny Wolfe, Lawrence Oliver, Adam Grieve, Owen Robinson all continue.
The bench sees Keith Corrigan and Gareth Pratt make returns after impressing in the Saxons whilst a debut is in store for new signing Andy Boylan after similarly strong showings for the Saxons.
