Table Toppers in town for Sedgie
Table topping Ponteland are the visitors to the Sedgie Wok on Saturday as one of the form teams in the league having lost just once to Ryton. Other than that they have swept all before them including dishing out some brutal defeats by over 70 points along the way. No doubt a very tough encounter.

Ponteland were in DN1 last season and following relegation have rebuilt well and are looking a safe bet to go straight back up

Sedgie were dealt a hammer blow with injury news to Kyle Sutcliffe (Back) being ruled out until at least next season and also skipper Phil Dawson (Broken Arm) Ruling him out until the new year.
Never the less, its a strong Sedgie team that will attempt to tackle the league leaders and we do seem to perform well in these types of game
Ollie Barker, James Watson and James Allison renew a mobile and strong front row with Anth Smyth and Pedro Gray locking out behind. Paul McCormack is at number 6, Will Johnson at 7 and Ollie Lines is given the nod at number 8.
Nathan Waterhouse continues at 9 with Chris Dawson pulling strings at ten. Lawrence Oliver and Adam Grieve renew their centre partnership and the back three are unchanged with Andy Fife, Danny Wolfe and Owen Robinson all keeping their place.
On the bench, Dan Lawson, Andy Shepherd and Dom Ryan all potential game changers when they take the field.
