Sedgie on the road to Winlaton to face the Vulcans
Following on from last weeks morale boosting win over Blyth, Sedgie travel to Winlaton in search of more points to start the climb up the table. It wont be easy against a side flying high in 3rd place and have proved to be a nemesis after beating us 3 times last season. If Sedgie can play to their best we know we can match most sides in the league and while form has been improving, we know we have been some way off our best this season.
The Opposition
Winlaton have had a great start occupying 3rd place on 28 points having lost just once to promotion favourites Ponteland, Winlaton have a good all round game with good forwards and backs capable of causing damage when they move it wider. They play out of Axwell View in Winlaton and will no doubt be fancying their chances of a strong season after such a strong start.
