1st XV v Blyth in early season 10 pointer!
Bottom of the table Sedgefield host 2nd bottom Blyth in an early season game that both sides will be keen to turn around early season form. Both sides have struggled so far at the quarter point of the season and find themselves in the lower reaches of the league with plenty of work to do if they are going to pull out and not finish in the dreaded bottom three come season end. Not that anything ever gets decided in October. We know we can be a good side on our day so are hopeful we can turn our fortunes around. Some support would really help us so if you are around this weekend and aren't playing please come down and give the lads a roar!
The Opposition
Blyth maybe started their recovery last week with a fine win over Darlington while Sedgie were learning some tough lessons away at Guisborough. Blyth are well known locally and have played higher up the rugby pyramid previously. They are a good all round side and will be looking to take something away from the Wok so Sedgie will need to find some of last seasons form.
