Sedgie are off to the seaside again
Newly promoted Seaton Carew host Sedgie with both sides seeking a first win of the season
The Opposition
Seaton Carew are a smashing rugby club plying their trade on the border of Hartlepool. Seaton have joined the league following a successful campaign last year where they were promoted from DN3. Having given a good account of themselves so far this season they have picked up bonus points against both Darlington and Gosforth so far and will no doubt be targetting this game as a potential win given our early season form.
Team News
Sedgies struggles to get lads on the paddock continues with another raft of suspension, injuries and unavailability but we are confident we have a strong squad for the visit to Seaton Carew
Definitely missing is captain James Watson who is suspended following last weeks unfortunate red card and Paul McCormack, Ollie Lines, Bobby Blackburn, Kev Vaughan & Josh Hetherington who are all away.
Richie Wood starts following some sort of motorbiking nonsense he was involved in last week (That will teach you!) Oliver Barker reverts to hooker as cover for the suspended James Watson and the front row is completed by Dan Lawson. Nick Stringer is FINALLY named in the starting line up and packs down with Anth Smyth. The Back Row sees Peter Gray return following a starring role for the Saxons last week with Seb Wilkins on the flanks. Will Johnson again wears number 8 and will captain the side.
Nathan Waterhouse comes in for the unavailable Michael Shepherd at 9 with Owen Robinson continuing at ten. Josh Hodgson and Jamie Wilson are in the centres with Ryan Towler and Ben Norris on the wings. Danny Wolfe is again at full back.
The bench sees James Allison in line for a debut as front row cover and Phil Dawson again collecting splinters. They are joined by AN other who we hope we can turn into an actual player by the weekend if we can pull in a few more for the Saxons.
